Where the Trees Are

Last year's Boundary Waters (BWCA) trip.

The first day of our trip we had a long drive from the Twin Cities, MN to Brule lake. By the time we got there many of the immediate campistes were taken. After what seemed like hours, we found one. It was a bit small for our group. Instinctively I scoped out the area for things to take pictures of and locate where the sunset/sunrise will be. This area though small had quite a number of interesting trees and plants. Though very beautiful it was, none of my pictures really captured the awesomeness...

...But then came the magic of photoshop. I learned I could take those pictures and merge them to create a larger scene. The result became something just a little closer to how I saw the the scene in front of me at the time I took those pictures.
